About Anvi

Anvi is a 19-year-old youth leader, student, and advocate. She is the Founder & CEO of BioMedizone. Beyond leadership, Anvi is also a Stamps Eminence Scholar on a full-ride scholarship at The Ohio State University, studying Neuroscience & Nonprofit Management. She is interested in community health, service, youth leadership, nonprofit management, clinical neuroscience, and healthcare administration. 

Launched in 2022 when she was just 15 years old, BioMedizone provides equitable access to biomedical education and research opportunities to first generation or low-income students across the globe. 

At first, Anvi launched BioMedizone having noticed the lack of research mentorship provided to younger students. As BioMedizone grew, Anvi noticed a measurable gap: first generation or low-income students seemed to benefit the most from BioMedizone's programs. Why? Because they either lacked access in their communities, or were discouraged from pursuing research until graduate school. 

This realization sparked Anvi's passion for promoting STEM educational and research equity across the globe, especially where it's needed the most. Since then, Anvi has built what is now one of the largest international youth-led nonprofits targeted towards improving STEM education & research to first generation or low-income students. With over 3,000 students impacted over 68 countries, BioMedizone has gained 2.5M impressions & provided over $1.5M in free biomedical educational instruction and research programming. Anvi leads all aspects of BioMedizone, from business growth, strategy, and operations.
