I believe that a young person's potential should not be limited by their access to opportunity. There are millions of students across the globe with curiosity, ambition, and willingness to learn. Yet, they lack access to research experiences, mentorship, or solid biomedical science foundation into the field. This gap in access actively shapes who gets to participate in science, who gets to build, and ultimately, whose ideas get heard across academia. 

I call this opportunity poverty: the lack of access to experiences, relationships, and resources that allow talent to become opportunity.

My work focuses on helping close that gap. Through BioMedizone, healthcare and research experiences, mentorship, and youth leadership, I am working to make biomedical science and STEM opportunity more accessible to the next generation.

BUILD

As Founder & CEO of BioMedizone, I build programs that connect young people with biomedical education, research, mentorship, and innovation. My goal is to move students beyond simply learning about STEM and toward participating in it, contributing to it, and seeing themselves as capable of shaping its future.

UNDERSTAND

My academic and professional interests span clinical neuroscience & research, business, and healthcare administration. I'm particularly interested in understanding healthcare in all aspects: from the science underlying disease to the systems, organizations, and people responsible for delivering care.

SERVE

My healthcare experiences have included patient-facing roles, free-clinic service, community health initiatives, and healthcare administration. These experiences have allowed me to work on healthcare accessibility, coordination, communication, and trust.

LEAD

I have pursued leadership across BioMedizone and the Ohio State community, where I have worked with teams and initiatives spanning education, healthcare, service, and student engagement. For me, leadership has become part of my identity. I've found my passion for bringing people together and leaving an organization stronger than I found it.
